August 15, 2012 gold and purple

We started with a field of wild flowers, added some golden light and a few cute little girls.  That is a recipe for beauty.  These girls braved thorny branches and scratchy bushes to pick a bouquet for their mama.  Strength and beauty – what a lovely combo.

ps. I know those pretty purple “flowers” are weeds.  Shhh…don’t tell them.

    Wonderful pictures! Mother Nature would never call anything that grows in the wild a “weed”. And if that is Fireweed (it looks like it) that is the provincial flower of the Yukon!!
